Curtis I was a drug-addicted sinner, and I was trapped. I was a slave to drugs and that’s all I used to think about. I’ve gotten into much trouble. The only place I was going was to prison and, back then, I didn’t care till I got locked up. Then I knew there has to be a better way. When I was in jail, Tony, from the Promise House, came and visited me and told me about the Promise House. At first I was a little scared of the whole idea, but I thought on it and I felt like this could be the only way to change my life and get on the right path. I found out since I’ve been here that without Jesus we can never live right. Since I’ve been in the House I’ve learned so much about the Bible and Jesus. I’m really glad that God chose me and saved my life. I feel so great today knowing that our Holy God is still letting us know He is with us. It was a miracle that I got into the Promise House. I give thanks to Jesus, Tony, Mark, Joyce, Mary, Gary, Denise, Lynn and everyone who is a part of Freedom for Youth Ministries for helping me with my walk with Jesus.
