All internships are based out of our home office in Des Moines and are 3-4 months long. Housing is availabe in Des Moines area.

Freedom Quest | Summer

A group of ten interns work together to bring the Gospel to counties across Iowa, helping pave the way for Freedom for Youth to partner further with these rural communities in the future. Interns will assist in planning and executing large youth-focused events full of games, crafts, Bible stories, food, and bounce houses in addition to building relationships with youth and adults in these communities.

Youth Programs | Summer

Interns will receive hands-on experience guiding and directing youth (K-12th grade) and volunteers in addition to helping prepare and set up for the program and community outreach events. Under the supervision of program managers, interns are asked to lead and develop portions of the elementary, middle school, and high school programs.
