Volunteer where it makes a real difference.

Ways to Serve

When you volunteer at Freedom for Youth, you make a real impact in the lives of Des Moines kids.

You’ll build relationships, share your gifts, and create the kind of place students feel known, supported, and valued. Whether you come for one afternoon or once a week, we work with your schedule so you can maximize your time serving your community.

The older woman is wearing a purple shirt, and the man is wearing a black shirt with text. They are smiling, and there are trays of food and paper plates on the counter.

Provide a Meal

Meal volunteers meet vital needs by helping us keep daily dinners free, hot, and delicious for our students. Sign up for a meal or contact us for more information!
