Freedom Blend Coffee

Freedom Blend Coffee, a social enterprise of Freedom for Youth Ministries, is a full-service coffee business that empowers young adults through Christ-centered employment training that produce development, restoration, and hope.

The business, founded in 2011, teaches job skills and gives young people invaluable knowledge and work experience for future employment.

We source coffee through Cafe Imports and Honduran Coffee Alliance to create blends of light, medium, and dark roasts as well as decaf and espresso. Each order is carefully packaged, dated, and initialed by the roaster.

Freedom Blend Coffee is located just west of the Freedom for Youth home campus, at 2329 Hickman Road, in Des Moines. Employment training participants learn skills through serving customers, operating cash registers, managing inventory, and sales. The facility also serves as a space for mentoring and training for our ministry's youth programs. The Freedom Blend Trailer is also available to deliver delicious coffee drinks to your special event!
